The Pre-school staff includes a manager/leader, a deputy and 3 assistants, one of whom is the Special Education Needs Co-ordinator. 4 out of the 5 staff hold relevant qualifications in day-care or education. Opportunities are provided for staff to continue training in order to keep their skills up to date and we are an equal opportunities employer.

There is a high ratio of adults to children in our pre-school, ensuring each child receives a high level of attention (3 staff to maximum 15 children)

With our keyworker system:

Each member of staff has particular responsibility for a small number of children.

Each child has one special adult, their keyworker, to relate to, so helping with settling in.

The keyworker can easily tailor the curriculum to the unique needs of each individual child.

Parent and carer contact is focussed on one member of staff, so allowing a better link to the home setting.
